:ohhh:

Im watching Untold: Christy Martin on Netflix and I'm like "why the hell does this rural Virginian sound like she from New Jersey?"

They show her parents, friends, and clips from her when she has young. They all have that same hick accent.

Then they get to the part in the story where she has a stroke (spoilers)... and the next scene they show of her talking post stroke she has a completely different accent... completely :ohhh:

Brethren... is this possible? :ohhh:

Certainly, langauge and speech are greatly affected from a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) such as stroke, concussion, aneurysm, etc.

Now changing a BK accent to a Texas Twang? Idk....but when relearning language after a TBI you are reflexively mimicking your therapist/counselor's dialect....
