They aren't some bum ass nikkas who take shyt for granted, they come here for a purpose.

Which is to be another diversion towards ALL native black americans, latinos, whites, and indians.

Devils hand these new monkeys happy meals and a few quarters, point towards those mentioned and say watch them, you're better than them, never trust them. It is what it is people, they will continue to prosper, but the moment they look beyond babylons currency, and worldly attributes and aim for real power is when they'll instantly learn what it is to walk in the shoe's of America's have nots lol.

Smile, make your money, enjoy the ways of this world, and keep your fukking mouth shut no matter what "new nikkas":obama:

I've watched and read the end game play out many times. Divide and conquer will come your way in due time:ufdup:

Then I know for a fact most immigrants arent doing well. I think some are confusing immigrants living better here then were they come from as being successful but that is because our basics in quality of life is much higher then theirs. If they go to canada, they will probably have a better quality of life based on how things are there. It's just the nature of the came. I'm happy for them but I'm not going to give them this aura of magic powers, its just they have to save money to meet their goals and its usually a better living situation. In that sense yes they are successful but the fight doesnt stop there if they really want the title of being successful in its truest sense in our society. Now to have that title, they have to keep the payments for the house up, pay for their kids lifestyle and education, make sure they keep their job or keep profits coming into their business, make sure they have proper health insurance, make sure they have proper ents, and have an enjoyable life.

This is what I call successful, and is why I'm baffled when I hear immigramts are so successful compared to americans, specifically aa, because most dont have the things I mentioned. Yeah you have a few, and they help make up for the rest in statistics, being that they are so small in numbers compared to us, but why do people take the exaggerations and run with it by putting others down?.

When I was younger my grandmother gave me a jewel that I see is real the older I get, and the more places I visit or learn about. She told me you will always have poor people no matter where you go. I looked at it like she was being arrogant at that time but, I came to see she was right. What she meant was you will always have people who just wont live up to their potential even if they come from a rich area. Some see Americans and say we are lazy, etc. but they ignore those who arent, then they make it worse by making it seem like everybody is a hard worker and everyone sticks together, where they're from and that isnt true. We know this because we see it isnt true based on using common sense, and it builds up anger when someone is talking down to you based on a lie. Im happy for immigrants who come here and make their life better then before but dont start acting high and mighty until you really are the shyt. Having a house does not make you the shyt. Owning a little store does not make you the shyt. Those two things plus what I previously mentioned does.

I can't disagree with anything you said

There is that too but a lot of immigrants come here and are very educated. It's just that there arent as many opportunities where they came from. Not many large companies hold offices in small countries and the opportunities there are limited.

For example If you are an electrical engineer, in a lot of countries there are only a limited amount of companies you can wrk for. It's typically either for the local telephone or power company. In most countries there are either 1 or 2 of those. Unlike in America where you have hundreds of those same companies.

America is a huge market place for companies and said companies have jobs to offer within those communities. If you go to the Bahamas for example and are an engineer you probably work for Batelco or Cable Bahamas. That's it. In Haiti, you either work for Digicel or NatCom or Teleco. In Costa Rica you eiter work for ICE or dont work at all in that field.

Here in the U.S. you have hundreds of companies that would have a job for yo with an electrical/telecommunications engineering degree.

Very well said. I agree completely. It's just that where I'm from they come from nothing so I see that more often.

I think there are still people who will sacrifice, its just that the loudest people tend to be fools. Most people who are doing it, dont feel the need to tell everyone.

This may be off topic but can you ask your grandfather why didn't he go back to D.R. to live like a king off the U.S. currency and open up more business there?. Or even get into politics to change things around. I really would like to know why most immigrants dont do this. I do know some who have, its just they are in the minority.

I can answer this. My grandfather did go back to DR. His kids were of age when it was time for retirement and he bounced. He lives very well over there. Not like a king in american standards but he needs for nothing. He did open a little business over there but it was mostly to do something to occupy time. As far as politics, he's the towns mayor, but that means nothing. There's no such thing as law in DR when you have money.

I'm not sure if that's what you meant. My family in DR is from the country side mountains. Where there's no running water and electricity is a premium. Where people still use horses to travel and where you wash your clothes and shower in the river. Where there's no schools and people marry their own cousins

Why do you think a significant amount of people dont do this so they can build their country up?. All you need is around 100 people to make a big change.

Same here.

I'm from Haiti and you wont believe how many educated Haitians live there until they say fukk it and leave because there arent as many opportunities. In my mom's family alone there are 6 doctors of which the 4 that live in Haiti, 3 are unemployed. The other 2 moved here only because they didnt want to let their years of training go to waste.

Actually i just met this chick who just moved to Atlanta from the Bahamas. She's a doctor herself but after graduating school in Canada she went back home to Nassau and couldnt find a job therefore sat home for over a year. She just moved here last September and working at a hospital. See, places like DR, Haiti, Jamaica sometimes have the educated people for the jobs but the jobs arent there.

First world problems are third world comforts....so naturally it boils down to where you hail from & how you were brought up. This will determine your mindset, desire & ambition to make something out of yourself instead of fukking around with all that living in the now YOLO theatrics & finding someone or something to blame for your lack of *insert lofty aspirations * 10 or so years from now:ufdup:

First let me state I like this convo and dont have issues with most immigrants just giving my opinion on certain ways of thinking some of them have.

As far as your post, why do people put down those who like a lavish, pleasurable life?. Dont get me wrong, I dont like people who just want that and not willing to make smart moves to get it but why
does society look down on people who love to live a life of leisure considering that is what made most of the western world so nice to live in?. Is it religion that gives us shame to like to live high off the hog or is jealousy. I noticed growing up people would act like working all day, and struggling was something to be proud of and people who lived good in manhattan or on tv were degenerates but as soon as they got some money they tried to live exactly like those rich people. It even went far to look down to me BUT, as soon as I did better then them, I got the whole "you changed" speech!. This was from friends and family, especially the ones who had titles like lawyers, managers, etc.

Why do we look down on a lifestyle that helped made our lives better and we ultimately want to be at?.

Hypocrisy & Human Nature my friend....it's just how we're wired to comply amongst one another ...its simple if you come from dirt then your sense of self entitlement is often ten folds & we tend to let envy get the best of us in these predicaments I.e. resorting to hateful & ill disguised comments at one another... kinda like in your case with your friends & family bad mouthing ya for doing it big! Nobody will admit it, but if you clock someone you know doing really really well for themselves with minimal effort (schooling/Time invested etc) , you'll be first to feel some type of way about it! I've noticed it's usually the academics who feel somewhat envious & shytty when they find out a high school dropout they knew is now a successful entrepreneur owning various businesses & travelling the world not glued to a desk being a cyclic salary whore!

That is my situation. I was supposed to be a fukk up since I didnt do things the way everyone else did, and had to struggle for a while, but I moved away and made moves and got my shyt on point. Went back home, and I saw fake love from a lot of people. I felt like a rapper when they talk about how people flip the script on them when they made it. Some were overly nice, but you can tell it was just to get something, and others it was funny style acting. I still have love for them though.

Speaking only of the people I know, a lot of them got used to the american lifestyle after so many years of being here. A lot of them started families and don't want to leave them behind. Some have businesses here and spend the time between both places.
As far as my grandfather I don't think he makes much of a difference over there. I mean he does have a few of the poorer kids from the neighborhood living in his house to help with the chores and the livestock.
