2 Up 2 Down

Just not gen Z. Our generation, millennials, been putting c00n content online since the early years of YouTube and Twitter.
Black people having control of little to no media is one of our biggest problems.I’m glad brehs are realizing media has power. It really does. The ultimate soft power machines are television and cinema. White men are sexually and economically dominant in the media space. Whites women are the standard of beauty on screen. It’s not hard to see why kids would be influenced by that.
That’s why I want to get into television and film in the next few years. You need good messaging and to make media a tool for black empowerment. Some may downplay but it’s really important.
A dude replied to me really trying to say we could end up like ArgentinaA lot of these dudes don’t get out of the house and take social media as gospel. Weirdo activity especially on what is a child’s app like tik tok
Are we planning on ending up with a large influx of German Nazis in the next few years or something??? It’s amazing how fukking dumb people areA dude replied to me really trying to say we could end up like Argentina![]()
This is why i plan on raising my kids in a middle/upper class BLACK environmentGen Z parent here - this is due to us thinking we made it and raising our kids in enclaves with “good schools” and “safety” which in America means around white people.
Another factor is these kids were raised in either hella dysfunctional bm/bf relationships or single parents or grandmas. None of which inspire any sort of race loyalty.
I could count on one hand the # of people in interracial relationships I saw on tv growing up in the 80s now it is rare for my kids to see black relationships.
the white skin worshipping mostly comes from suburban black people. you can oppose as much as you want but I said what I said.
You had them watch roots FR!? how old...wtf was that like![]()
I watched Roots at school in 4th or 5th grade, it's not that extreme an ideayou crazy AF
We're witnessing a generation that grew up with no concept of privacy, who are now being conditioned to think of themselves as "content creators" where every facet of their life is some form of digital currency that can purchase attention.
I agree with you there, that it can extend to anywhere where there’s black people, and where you grow up doesn’t always determine how you turn out. Environment may not be the end all be all so long as, once again, you have a solid foundation, but it still plays a vital role in shaping a young adult and their overall worldview. But this specific type of perfomative c00ning where you team up with goofy white nerds and shyt on other black people for everyone to see and hear, that minstrel act is something I’ve only seen white washed suburban blacks do. These are typically black people who have mostly white friends and wanna be accepted. They don’t get around large quantities of black people (and no, I do not count family members) til college or getting into the workforce, you know, the real world their c00n parents shielded them from while making them attend white churches growing up with those racist ass evangelists, and now they’re not the only black person anymore, and the other white people around them who don’t know who they are will automatically group them with the rest of us. This is why these types go full blown pro black all of a sudden after c00ning their entire adolescence away, cause they finally got that delayed wake up call. Now they gotta play catch up. A lot of “Is This You” Twitter exposé’s come from this stock. Again, seen it my entire life. Literally can’t even count on just one hand how many black kids my age I knew like this, not to mention the younger generation who I come across from time to time in my area, nothing new or surprising to me at this point.
