Since I copped my ATH-M50s I've been getting as many FLAC rips as possible.

Y'all internet connections can't handle 300mb+ in 2012?

I don't think their problem is really the download times. It's moreso the space the files take up on the cpu or mp3 player.

I gotta get my bread up, my SAMSON headphones broke on me. he damn wire is so long (studio headphones) that it stays getting caught in shyt and that shyt just ripped.

What kind of chord does those M50s use and is it sturdy?

Flac is pretty pointless unless you're using it for archiving. Which is what it should be used for.

The difference (especially for hip hop) is small between a Flac and a high quality VBR MP3.

Thanks, my only complaint is it's depositfiles. Depositfiles has a limit on downloads and on connection speed.

What type of difference will one notice if he has regular volume with .flac vs 320kbit with normal beats by Dr. Dre's or the Apples In-ears?

It's near impossible to hear the difference in FLAC rips anyways compared to your average vbr rip. I challenge ya'll to do a blind test and see how many times you can tell the difference between a FLAC and a regular MP3 file of decent bitrate.

Anyways FLAC is mainly used for archiving because the file does not deteriorate like MP3s, which will lose quality over time. Get you a few TB of storage and load up on all your favorite albums in FLAC format
