Long story short, FLAC is the "HD" of the audio world but if you ain't got a HD TV (high-end headphones, i.e. beats by dre), you won't tell the difference.

I have beats by dre and always want the best audio possible, ever. i still buy cd's 100's a year. and storage is not a problem. i have a terra barely scratched.

you can't put FLAC on an ipod tho, you would have to play it with the computer/hard drive connected to your stereo/entertainment system i guess.

I use Poweramp on my cellphone which supports FLAC

Edit: even 320kbps isn't CDQ but you'd have to have superhuman hearing to notice. FLAC is the best you'll find to download because no quality is lost during compression.

320 is best as far as i know but my hearing is a bit fukked up anyway so i just go for anything above 192. even if it's not 192 or 320 i get it if i can't find a better version. for real i think you have to have a SUPER good system or crazy hearing to really tell the difference.

i'm sure there are apps that allow you to play flac on phones etc but how much can you fit on there when in reality 320 is just as good to most people?
