Vince has always had a really stupid, stubborn way of booking babyfaces since the 80s. THe Attitude era was an exception because he was having to defer to so many other people since WCW was whooping his ass. But WWE loves to make their top faces dikkheads who are nonetheless portrayed as virtuous heroes who are always in the right. Hogan didn't have a problem because WWF's audience was all kiddies and the smarky adults wanted nothing to do with them. But once the fanbase started getting older they turned on Hogan (peep all of them boos at the '92 Rumble) because all of his rampant jerkassery became more obvious to them.

Nowadays WWE tries to have its cake and eat it too because they want to dumb shyt down for kids but realize that the adults are the main demographic and the only people that stick around. But they HATE that reality.

They're delusional because Cena told the Rock in that promo in 2012 "You make fun of me because most of my fans are kids. 90% of our audience is kids." He said that $hit with a serious str8 face. That's how fukked up things are backstage and how they rationalize shyt. Absolute insanity.

Reigns ain't Cena though. Cena's reactions are always legitimately 50/50. Reigns is more like 90 boo/10 cheer.

It is at PPV's. I'd say at casual Raw's it's more 50/50 60/40 though

If the crowd rejects you like that, there is no look in the world that is gonna work. I don't know what you're seeing but Reigns looks embarrassing these days. Having good matches with skilled workers is nothing to hype up. If anything..he sold too much. They had this guy go toe to toe with Lesnar..now is he a monster or a comeback wrestler? There are all kind of issues with him. Superman comebacks at the end of the match with no SELLING in sight...wtf Got destroyed by a chair but did a LeBron James LEAP to hit the fukking SPEAR to end the match? HAHAHAHA. Vince is spitting a BIG LOOGIE in everyone's face with this charade.

is he over with men in the audience?

is he already finished? hell nah

the man gonna have a nice career, and if they let him organically become more like his NXT/FCW gimmick i think hes gonna skyrocket

Problem with Reigns is that he is not comfortable in front of a large audience, basically the opposite of Lesnar/Vince. Vince and Brock have openly admitted that they're not comfortable in a small room talking 1-to-1, but once they get out there in front of a large crowd they become much more relaxed.

Reigns is the total opposite, relaxed and comfortable in a small setting but shytting his pants in front of a large crowd.

Just my view from what I've seen
