Yeah I definitely understand that. Some do it because they think the grass is greener on the other side or maybe for revenge or vengeance even though they still love the person. Or there's something about new dikk or p*ssy who knows.

In my opinion though love is just not an emotion. Even if these women would break their backs for their partners, they still cheated and that in itself is not an act of love. Cheating is a deal breaker for me. I wouldn't be able to trust her and I don't want to be a woman who I no longer trust. I don't care if we have children either or have been married for years. I'm a very loyal man and I would never cheat on my partner. Not cheating is easy. There's a build up to it most of the time unless they go out of their way to cheat.

You can Feel more comfortable taking to your "work husband" about certain things, and still love them. Still care for them. Still want to see them happy. Still sacrifice for them.

I get what you mean but if all of that is true then I don't care much for love in that it will not supersede dysfunction or certain things within an individual that I will not tolerate. Given your definition, love is merely an emotion. Emotion is definitely important, but we must look at relationships on an intellectual level especially in 2016. Looking at relationships with emotion will lead many to unhappiness, dysfunctional relationships and situations they shouldn't be in.

If someone chooses to stay with someone who isn't in their best interest because of love, that's because of low self-worth and a low level of self-respect. Personally, I don't let my emotions control me most of the time. I've had women who've done me wrong and try and get back with me, and even though I still had feelings for them and wanted to be with them on some level I told myself no.
