Insurance too.....Breh, that poster is notoriously dense. Don’t waste your time.
As for the quotes that the OP used, it was specifically about married men. I’m not sure why the OP included women in the question.
Corporations love to promote either lesbians (ticks two boxes or three if they’re Black) or perpetually single/on their way to becoming mammys. Why?
The former is highly unlikely to get pregnant and if she does decide to have children, it will be a surrogate or her partner carrying the baby. Whilst the latter will focus on their career and degrees and is highly unlikely to have children a la Oprah.
Career driven women are perfect to promote. By the time they decide to have children, it will either be too late or they’ll only have one if they have to take the IVF route.
It’s rare a woman who’s young and fertile will get promoted. Especially if she’s about to get married. You’re looking at multiple maternity leaves. And although it’s illegal to discriminate, small companies are not going to hire young women in their child bearing years.
Outside of the two aforementioned archetypes I mentioned, an older woman who has already had children and is divorced is ideal too. She’ll put her career first at this point. No need worry about her getting knocked up.
The dynamics are definitely different for men and women. A woman is not going to risk her reputation fukking the whole crew if she’s in a senior position. Maybe one or two but not as reckless as a man.
Young/fertile women get pregnant and even a healthy situation is gonna cost $$$$$.
If you're self-funded, that's some big stop loss claims. If you're under a fully insured arrangement...you're premiums will jump with whatever insurer you're using.
Lots of maternity leave...multiple instances etc. Women get more of a boost once it's clear they're not having more kids and the kids are school aged. Women tend to want to be SAHM for little ones but it's pointless once the kids are in school all day.
