Smith does good = Coach's doing
Smith does bad = Smith's doing

:deadhorse:

I've never seen a decent starting QB get so much flack haha. And this is coming from a Niners fan who was happy Smith got traded.

Change his name to Jason Campbell and there's a line around the block to suck his dikk

Let Michael Vick have the seasons Alex had the last 3 years and dudes would be calling for that HOF vote

No, you are telling lies and trying to assassinate my character now :heh:

If Kap played his ass off and put us in an incredible lead.... Then the PWill and the Defense blew in in practically one quarter. And Jim and co just allowed it and accepted.

No way in hell could I and WOULD I blame Kap.

I consistent. This man did what he was supposed to do..... He can get blamed cuz the D decided not to return to the field from half time.

At worse..... The D should've contained Luck to 2 tds in the second half

Alex played well for the most part. I just don't get the butthurt. If Peyton can get criticized for being damn near flawless but not quite good enough then so can Alex.

For the last time, he played well enough to win. His D let him down. All I said is I think he's too risk averse to win shootouts or come from behind. Not a knock on him.

Because he always does. You forgot the fumble? That was a key turnover.
no he doesnt. romo has a knack of untimely picks that are almost comical because hes a really good qb who continually gets bad luck and has bad decisions at the end of games.

whats funny is you talking about romo, you would be defending romo right now harbaugh-style, especially with all the guys going down and the bad defense.

You clearly aint that big of a fan.

You`d remember last year was the packer game, and you`d remember it was Kaepernick.

Anyone with a brain who watches any football remembers the classic Saints/49ers game.

Like I said, this is why I have no respect for most posters opinions. You prove a great example

My God you're an idiot.

The game I was talking about was two years ago you clown. I don't keep track of what team 49ers play every year...that ain't my team, fool.

I just remembered watching Smith win in a shootout, so when dude said he couldn't, I brought up that game.

Funny you mention Jason Campbell because his career was on the same path as Smith...one guy got chance after chance and the other got tossed. But keep race baiting.

The drive after Flowers got the interception right before the half was INEXCUSABLE. They had like 30 seconds and 2 timeouts and were up 21 points. You gotta take a chance there and try to make a play to get into field goal range, but instead he checks it down and kneels.
he had a hail mary heave on the last play of the first half.

So are you saying that we're all biased and we all have our own agendas?

:snoop: forgot about that, but the plays before that is more of what I'm focusing on. Had some timeouts to play with and was throwing dumpoffs.

Gotta try to get in field goal range.

Trust me everyone here knows and understands what you're talking about.

BUT, at some point you MUST take RISKS.

you cant take risks every play.
in fact, I understand that Im a pretty conservative football-wise, much so than most of madden-playing CFB watching thecoli, but I would say you want to minimize and time your risks as much as you can in a football game

Im not biased :youngsabo:
I dont believe in 'playmakers' from qbs point of view. theres good qbs and bad qbs based on decision making. good qb performances and bad qb performances.

alex had a pretty good performance today. was it perfect ? no, not at all. I never said romo was the reason when he would have great performances with 1 turnover. it was funny because he always seem to throw pick/turn the ball in the very end of the game.

I know that breh trust me, but there's certain points in the game where you need your guy to take a "calculated risk:"

And that point at the end of the half was one of them. Especially when you're playing a team that's presumably your equal in their building.

if youre talking about me I wasnt offended you saying smith is too risk averse, because its true.

Im offended because people view 'risk averse' like its a bad thing in football.
its bullshyt imo.
the whole 'play not to lose' mentality being bad is something I COMPLETELY disagree about.

We also gotta stop that "he did his job" bs too. When you're part of the team you have the game in your hands for 60 minutes. They scored 31 points in the first half and could hardly sustain a drive in the second. So Smith had a hand in the highs and the lows and they ended up losing.

That's all we're saying.

there were some throws downfield :manny: last throw to bowe was a risk because it was a designed one-on-one AR1 play trusting the WR instead of actually see whats open underneath

there were 9/16 on third downs, which is pretty good.
