This Daniel Bryan storyline is so terrible.

There's nothing likable about him from a character standpoint. It's hard to even root for him wanting to prove he's not the weak link because he's been such an insufferable jerk to everyone.

I see that too, unless he's turning heel its almost like they're trying to sabotage his face reactions. I dunno

^that's good to know, because they made it seem like Orton was who the crowd was behind on the show...throwing in boos for D-Bry.

Let me put it like this: Orton was the most over guy on the show by quite a margin, especially with women (holy hell, especially with women), but did not get the best face reactions (that was Sheamus, believe it or not). During the Orton/Bryan match specifically, there was an interesting contrast in reaction: whenever Bryan would go on offense, he would get tons of "Yes" chants, but wouldn't get booed, not even by women. But when Orton went on offense, did his poses, etc., he would get huge cheers, but also vocal boos. Like 65/35, maybe leaning toward 60/40. Seeing as Dayton was a more orthodox WWE crowd, cheering and booing according to WWE's narratives, this was actually kind of shocking.

So yeah, go to a SmackDown taping sometime; it'll seriously open your eyes to how ridiculously doctored WWE's taped shows are.

Yeah - I've seen Randy a lot and everytime his female reaction is crazy.

Of course I believe Sheam got the best face reactions...:win:

I've actually been to a few Smackdowns. They're in town again I think this month. And you're right - what goes down and what airs is crazy.

I remember Triple M going to a Smackdown when Christian was red hot a while back and telling us that they completely cut out a segment in which he was very over with the crowd.

For posterity, list of significant things that got edited out of this SmackDown, off the top of my head:

-Wade getting some support from the crowd during the IC Title match was completely edited out. No one gave a fukk for Miz, by the way.
-During the RAW recap, John Cena got booed quite a bit, which utterly shocked me, considering the crowd composition.
-AJ's substantial pop was completely edited out. No one gave a fukk about Kaitlyn.
-Del Rio getting support from the crowd was edited out (it was probably 40/60 or so, cheers to boos).
-They cut out Jericho subtly heeling it up on the ramp after he took Ziggler out. For what reason, I don't know.
-To compare with Cena getting boos, CM Punk, who had been face for all of 2 days as of the tapings, got enough cheers for his video package that I believe he probably would've gotten face pop of the night had he been there. Coincidentally, the girl I was chatting it up with had a CM Punk shirt on. It looked good on her. :win:
-Completely cut out Bryan's entrance, in which he got quite the pop.

Also, I don't know if you felt this way about the shows when you watched them back after attending them, but this crap seemed to be put together by a drunk. Significant happenings being cut, random pacing, entrances of significant wrestlers being cut out, who over sees this shyt? :MiSu:
