You don’t really think Durant is better than Bird…Right?

I do. Better defender (Bird was always super overrated here to me, while KD is super underrated here), better scorer, a better shooter and in his prime the athletic gap was crazy.

The only argument I can see for Bird is Bird was light years a better playmaker/passer and he was definitely a better rebounder.

There’s maybe a handful of names I would say that are better and on my all time list higher than Bird, but it damn sure ain’t KD.

You misread. KD needs those Warriors titles now because he hasn't accomplished much without that Warriors run. If he had been successful in Brooklyn or Phoenix, it would have really cemented his legacy.
His legacy is already cemented as one of the greatest scorers ever. As far as all time ranks, people were never going to elevate him after going to GS anyway and you know that.

KD has a higher scoring ceiling and is more athletic. With regards to actual production Bird was better.

KD is more in line with the Gervins, Dantleys and Kings. He just happened to come along in the post Jordan era where people flipped the script on volume iso scorers. Early in Mike's career it was considered a bad thing. After Mike it became THE thing.

No I don't think that he is better than Bird, but he does remind me of Bob McAdoo.
