... To find out it was done for that segment and isn't available for the general public?

I was captivated by this commercial for Aria Las Vegas and wanted to know which piece it was, only to find out it was composed for the commercial and couldn't hear it elsewhere/there wasn't more:

I don't fukk with ABBA but heard this cover on Black Mirror and was disappointed that it wasn't commercially available

Also one time I caught a re-run of the A-Team with Rick James and Isaac Hayes guest starring; the scene where they introduce Hayes' character he's sitting in the jail yard singing and playing guitar ... I tried to which song he was doing but apparently it was just a random diddy for the purpose of the episode :to:

This thread had to be specifically made for me because I have PLENTY of these

Off the top of my head: the fake-ass version of Ma$e's "Feel So Good" that they had on Smart Guy ("get your jiggy on, boy.....get your jiggy on :wow:")

Of course you can do that for the little snippet of music that you heard.....but sometimes it'll have sound effects throughout the shyt, or you'll want an extended version of the tune that may not exist

I remember on a few episodes of Family Matters they had this dope-ass new jack swing beat playing in a few party scenes.....I always thought that it was from a real song but it was only an instrumental, and the song always had party noise, chatter and studio audience reactions mixed up in it :snoop:

That shyt was some SWV shyt :damn:.....TLC coulda had a hit with that; I could even hear Left Eye rapping over it in my head :damn:

EDIT: actually managed to find one of the scenes with the song on youtube :wow:

Another one I thought of from Family Matters: there was an episode where Harriette was dancing in front of Laura and her friends, embarrassing her. The song that the radio was playing, was some late 80s/early 90s sounding rap song with a Monie Love sounding chick rapping on it

Here's the weird part....a small loop from the SAME song was used in the video game B Rap Boys (at 6:10 in the video):

I been trying to find this song for YEARS. The extended Family Matters version had more keyboards and a brassy part that made it sound a lot better than the stripped-down version in the video....but I can't find the full version :sadcam:

Breh, that had me thinking, you notice that the Sega Genesis had quite a few games of which music was hip hop influenced?
