You know how long they would take compared to a plane breh? :gucci:

Thread would be more interesting if whatever you give up, you can use 1 day per month, just don’t have unrestricted access like you do now

That still wouldn’t make it easy tho, I still don’t think I could choose any to give the :camby:

Giving up Internet should still come with the ability to use it for financial reasons to make it fair.

Also OP, how exactly does it work? Ok you can’t drive if you choose to get rid of transportation but can someone give you a ride? :jbhmm:

You can’t have a toilet/shower but can you use someone else’s? :jbhmm:
I WFH so i need the internet, not to mention general use. I am not living without modern medicine, plumbing or entertainment. I have a car and i barely drive it now because most of what i need is in walking distance for me (supermarket, Target, barber, bank, etc.). Big perk of living in a city, especially a good part. Using a bike instead would not be an issue.

No, you can't use TP or a toilet just like OP said you can't catch a ride in someone else's car (that's what personal access is, B).:skip:

Taking a camp shower with a bucket sounds cool unless you live in a place with winters where the water will freeze. :umad:

Imagine being a fat fukk and not washing in between your jelly rolls on the regular. :scust:

But I forget this is the coli, so some folks ain't tryna wipe they ass or wash they hands before they eat or finna shower everyday and wash their legs too. No plumbing means no TP, maybe baby wipes, and no bidet, so your ass finna be stanking, ole itchy booty nikkas. And you finna be eating off paper plates at the crib for life. :dead:

word?

What pre-internet time period would you want society to go back to...?

:sas2:
Technically the internet been around since the early 80s. When I say society was better before the internet, I mean before it took over everyday life the way it did which to me was the late 2000s definitely by early 2010s. Late 90s-mid 00s was a GOAT time frame :banderas:

I say smart phones played the biggest role tho. Internet wasn’t that bad when you had to be home to use it. Internet doesn’t have to go away, I wonder what would happen if we all went back to flip phones with no cameras :jbhmm:

I feel that, but modern transportation includes airplanes, public transportation as well. I’m from NY which is prolly the main city you can be good without a car in but thats mainly because of public transportation :leon:

I live in Chicago and where i am at it is not necessary to have a car/rideshare/bus to get things done. If i went back home to the Bay it would be pretty much the same. If there was anything that i could not get myself by foot or bike, it can always be ordered and dropped off.

It would only suck if you worked somewhere far away that was 30+ minutes a drive away, but those are the breaks.

OP didn’t mention that, he specifically mentioned the toilets; now there’s no take backs, he bodied himself.

Even if that were the case, we had to drive to a local well and fill an old Cadillac trunk full of empty milk jugs for water (drinking, bath, etc) when we stayed with our grandma. I’ve experienced showering with rain water, while it’s raining or collected in buckets, during field time in the Army. Plus digging a hole, shytting, in it and burying it (I kept at least 5 packs of baby wipes).

do books count as modern entertainment? can you still play an instrument if you choose that?

Nope, books been around for ages, so you can still have access to those :manny: you can also use instruments as long as they don't have electronics

Nope, you can't step foot in a vehicle at all.

You can have people deliver or drop things off, but if you personally want to go somewhere you have to walk, bike, or use a horse.

Same with toilets and showers, you can't personally use them.

I live in NJ. I could survive without transport. Would I be able to to use a horse and buggy?

Yup, horse and buggy is acceptable :ehh:
