fukk that bihYou know if Gone With The Wind was made in modern times instead of "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn." we'd get "tbh bae idgaf."
You have to understand, the southern fraternal system was started by slave owners who wanted to preserve the “southern way of life”. Most of their fraternities and sorority rituals are all probably rooted in some vile racist act. Like some of them probably have the preserved skull of a slave on some Django type shyt that they bring out for ritual days and probably have to reenact a slave beating to complete their membership process. Most probably secretly pledge allegiance to the Confederacy and to continue the work of the Confederacy so that the “South Will Rise Again” and promise to uphold white culture above all else.
Like all of this shyt is status to them southern upper middle class whites. And so vandalism of a black memorial or some symbolic act against black people probably increases the clout of those fraternity members who will probably go down in their fraternity history as being “heroes”.
Their fraternal systems was literally put in place to commemorate the days whites dominated blacks.
Most SEC schools allow their Greek system to have “Old South” Days every year where they dress up like it’s 1840.
Let’s not blame it on the alcohol.
