Because the Lakers being bad is the #1 story of the season.

You can't go 3 days without somebody talking about Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant not being friendly with each other, it's more of a soap opera than pro wrestling.

A personal squabble is the headline of the season.

That's what you get when you let more then half the teams in the playoffs and make the regular season absolutely meaningless:manny:

And it's also a product of only having 2-3 teams possibly winning the title.

The reg season is completely meaningless and it's far too long. There is no need for 82 basketball games when only 5 teams are real contenders.

that too nba is way too predictable which is why id take the other pro leagues over it

Its like watching a 5 hour movie and knowing the ending

No, that's why espn sucks.

This is it exactly. The NBA doesn't report all this shyt. ESPN are the a$$holes that won't let the story go.

Go to NBA.com they barely talk about it.

Isn't it the same way with the Cowboys and Jets tho?

Not really, while those 2 teams get attention the NFL was focused on the resurgence of Peyton Manning, the emergence of RG3, Luck and Wilson and who actually is going to be contending for the title.

NBA seems like a cruise control league where we're waiting on Heat vs. Thunder II and since nothing is interesting Dwight Howard and the Lakers become a weekly soap opera.

If the Cowboys were a competent organization, won consistently over the past decade, and had an off season, the same thing would happen to the NFL coverage. Hell, they get tons of coverage regardless.

You're wrong, they talked about Peyton and Peterson, but the Jets and Cowboys still dominated ESPN. What about Tebow?
