Not just E!spn though, this whole Dwight Howard stuff/Lakers demise is everywhere.
Well atleast more than half. espn and abc are the same. Don't really hear about the lakers when they not playing on tnt.

For the record, I love it. Better than them being on fire and having to hear about it non stop.

More so, I love how the "experts" all pick the lakers. NOW they back peddling telling us reasons why they losing. Those same reason was there before the season started though:heh:

So yall thought Dallas was gonna win in 2011 and the Heat was gonna beat OKC last year?
What about in 2004 when the Pistons upset the Lakers? Who knew the Bulls were a championship caliber squad in 2011?

I love the NFL but the widespread mediocrity across the league is a joke, but yall like to call it parity....

The same teams with the best management\ownership have been running the NFL for the last ten years....

Colts, Ravens, Steelers, Pats, Eagles. Over the last 4-5 years you can add saints and packs to the list.

Its too early to tell if the Hawks or Falcons will stick, but I feel that the 49ers will contend for the next 3 years.

Bottom line is that the NFL has played musical chairs with pretty much the same teams for the last 8-10 years.

And 16 games is too many. Needs to go back down to 14. You got teams below 500 making the playoffs....:comeon:

Let me say this then, it should never happen on the pro level where teams are supposed to be competitive.

That's a sign that the league is watered down

Well let me say this then, it has happened numerous times in the last few years in the NBA.

A sure sign that the league is completely weak.

Don't disagree at all. NBA been watered down since the Jordan era.

I just don't get the argument on how the NFL is supposed be a better product competition wise.

If you prefer football, cool, but don't use the argument that the NFL is a better product because the NBA plays too many games

NFL is also better because it's less predictable.

That's what you get when you let more then half the teams in the playoffs and make the regular season absolutely meaningless:manny:

so the season would be more intersting if 2/3rd of the teams were out of contention after 25-30 games? :troll:

look at baseball, with theri so called selectivity in how many teams make the playoffs, and how they're trying to spice up their game by adding extra teams to the playoffs..

Baseball is unbearably long too, I think all leagues should look at the NFL and notice that's a good way to pattern your season.

Cut down on the games and make your games feel more significant.

shyt make the NBA season 26 games, and have them run Tuesday and Friday nights only. This way they never cross-over w/ football on Mondays/Sundays/Saturdays and you got 2 big nights of basketball being the main focus

Now you're trolling. The NFL season is too long as well.

like the other breh said, its ESPN, not the league. I made a post the other day how ESPN should be ashamed to have skip bayless on tv trolling. Its not even really sports discussions anymore and thats cus THEY find that other stuff entertaining. It really is disappointing when ive spent my whole life watching ESPN for hours each day and its come to this lame tebow stories or kobe/dwight beef constantly. You can go over that shyt but dont be dedicating WHOLE SHOWS and multiple shows to the same thing...Make an OTL about players beefing and shyt then leave it alone and im good with that :yeshrug:
