I hear you..that's part of why after seeing certain stories and threads here I want to be able to employ blacks...not everyone has the access and means to make a comfortable life for themselves. It's just that right now that's a pipe dream for me since I don't even have an idea on what I want to do

I wish @bdizzle was here, that nikka is most likely one of the most serious self-employed,pro-black oriented hustlers/investers on this site no he would point you in the right direction. I wish I had more to offer information wise though. I'm sure there's someone here that you can holler at on the low though.

I got my shyt expunged tho so im good to an extent. I just cant pass a fingerprint scan or my charge will show up. I got myself a trade and ive worked a couple jobs where i passed a background check. I just wish i was motivated from an earlier age and surrounded myself with like minded people, that shyt would have never happened.

I bill about 100-200 an hour doing portraits/headshots for regular aspiring actors/musicians models.
Even more for for the corporations but my agent takes a cut.

And sometimes I end up having to work longer than I bill for.

anyways its not about how much you make its about how much you keep.

my dads 48 with no degree and hasnt made more than 20 dollars an hour in his life despite his experience in his numerous crafts such as truck driving, plumbing, cabinetry, car mechanics and computer hardware. and bruh still busts his ass every week of his life working over 40 hours a week. now he's a powder coater and only makes $13 an hour working like 45 hours a week. blue collar jobs as a black man usually dont get you shyt. my mom has had some okay jobs, she makes 25 an hour as tax agent for the state atm. my dad being nearly 50 and never getting a break upsets me brehs


studying IT security in college and trying to get my first certificate and internship/job in the summer soon. gotta make it big for the family brehs . but i'm black so i already know how hard i gotta grind.


isnt it fukked up in this country that even if you're black and go down the right path in this country alot of the times you still wont get shyt compared to damn near every other ethnic group?
