Curry wasn't "clamped" by any ONE player (that includes Delly and Conley) - yes Memphis and Cleveland did limit his impact for certain periods during their respective series, but it was all down to team defense. TEAM DEFENSE. Most notably blitzing/heavy hedging/trappin' on PNRs, sending an extra man before he could approach the 3-pt line and basically forcing the rest of the Warriors to beat them. For the sake of my own sanity, I'm not going to type anymore and leave you with these -

Ain't that how every points get defended? Ain't that the defense for pnr ?

See this is the problem, you can only have so much impact as a PG defending other PGs, because it's heavily reliant upon the help around you - more than any other position. Which is why in most cases - PGs can't lock up other PGs - especially elite ones like Curry.

nikkas always ignore that all that blitzing and hard hedging just led to wide open shots for GS. The major problem offensively for them was that Green didn't learn how to put shots up at the rim on Mozgov until later in the series, and Klay was abysmal. However that hard hedging strategy only works if you force turnovers and after GS got adjusted to it there wasn't any turnovers

The bulk of his production came late 3rd quarter and 4th quarter... Once the cavs were out of breath

If it wasn't for 12 on 7 curry might have scored even less than he did in the finals

Delly also went on restricted minutes after he went to hospital after the Cavs game 3 win and you could clearly see that fatigue was getting the better of him. There is only so much you can do playing 12 v 7
