Suburbs over the city, easily.

I enjoy the peace and quiet. I like being around the action from time to time, but when I’m ready to go, I’m glad I can retreat back to my suburban home. I enjoy driving my truck around the neighborhood, and my neighbors knowing who I am, and I enjoy grilling in my backyard. Also, I’d rather my family in the burbs. I eventually want to make a suburbs to country move. Big house on my land, with not too many people around me.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
I would never live in a suburb. I have to be close to all amenities. I don’t believe in driving a car to buy a simple item.

I like mixed use areas. Sort of suburban looking but in the city.

Also suburban people are actually create lots of weird ppl. Would not want to raise a kid there and have lame offsprings

I've lived in a city of over 2 million. A city of 20,000 and now currently living in a city of 220k. I like where I live now the most.

Lived in the burbs all my life. Wouldn’t mind living in NYC for a year or two before I settle down.

Lived in the burbs my whole life pretty much, and I currently live in one. That said one thing I like about being closer to/ in the city is the food options and general activities available a short distance away. I’m single and somewhat young so that stuff still appeals to me; I’m about 35-45 minutes out from the city now so it’s a pretty big commitment if I decide to go out

City and it’s not even close. Absolutely hate and can’t stand the suburbs. Just too soulless

No culture, strip malls filled with Boston Pizzas and Walmarts, forced to drive everywhere, talking to your neighbours about lawn products  all my friends who moved to the suburb have no life. They literally never leave and just do backyard BBQs and take one vacation a year if they’re lucky. Otherwise they’re in their lifeless cage. That life is too soul sucking for me

I love the city's energy. I even love the convivence of cities (public transit, copious amounts of stores and restaurants). Even the sounds. But I DON'T miss apartment living. fukk that shyt.

However, after being in the burbs for a while. Brehs, its so nice to have peace and quiet after like 7pm. There's no doom and gloom. Women and children walk around freely without they guard up. Dogs is barking, birds is chirping. :wow:

I'll always love the city. And if I was single, I'd probably still live in the city. But if you're a family man, or are in a committed relationship. Burbs is the way.

In my early 20s, city for sure. But as I approach my 30s, I'm feeling the suburbs more. Burbs feel like a healthy place to raise kids in.

City. I got all the conveniences shopping, bars, and restaurants where im at in the burbs. :noah: But i dont get the feeling of a community
This post aged poorly for me, I moved to the city a year later. I'm ready to go back across 8 mile :martin:

Begging ass neighbors, it's probably a handful of people that take care of their yards.
