Everyone is talking about it online, but let's try to get this in a single thread to make sense of this nonsense. I already called Ja Rule, but he didn't answer.

You got Ben Simmons as everyone thought you would. Now what? Word is that they are going to trade away Noel or Okafor. Do you keep both? Who do you move? Embiid is likely going to play this season...I would assume Noel comes off the bench. A defensive big coming in off the bench to spark...the defense? :wtf:

Something has to change. Do you wait it out to see what happens with Embiid?

Problem is that none of those 3 are stretch guys which Simmons is going to need. I am a little shocked that the Celtics did not bite on the Okafor trade with that 3rd pick as I think in the right system he should be a better pro than Jaylen Brown.

The 76ers are not my team, but I am interested in seeing how this all plays out :jbhmm:

I'd keep all of them and try and get some shooters in free agency :yeshrug:
Jeremy Lin ain't walking through that door breh.

You will be literally sabotaging the only thing the 76ers have left - Talk about potential with those 2. I don't like that Rockets offer I am seeing for Noel...I think they can get better.

I would trade okafor since he only seems to be good on the offensive side of the ball. I keep Noel and Embid for the time being. Noel is mostly an insurance policy for Embid but if Embid works out I trade Noel in a few years also. They will probably have to overspend to upgrade the roster with some competent nba players but I would do that as they have severely hurt their credibility over the last few years.

I take a bath on Noel and give him to the Suns for Brandon Knight and a protected pick. At the trade deadline depending on how he does I than consider moving Jah/Covington or Grant for an upgrade at SF or SG.

I Kind of belive that the Spurs will make a move on Noel involving Danny Green or Patty Meals and slo mo.

Assuming Embiid is healthy, the projected starting lineup is...

Embiid
Simmons
Covington
Statkus
Smith

With Okafor, Noel, McConell, others off the bench...

Okafor or Noel need to be traded for shooting guard or upgrade at point guard, Covington isn't bad for starting the 3 spot.

I think Okafor for Monta Ellis or Rodney Stuckey(or both), Jordan Hill picks is good deal for both teams

Why? They all wont be playing at the same time. Okafor gives u offense, Noel defense, and hopefully Embiid can give you both
Yeah both those 2 assets can be traded for starters if you plan to start Embiid @ center.

You can't just let guys sit with value like that...value will plummet and Noel is due for a new contract.

You pretty much have to move one of them at this point.

I feel you, i'd wait at least a year and see if Embiid can stay healthy
