No, there are not as many bad BW as there are BM. BW are not abusing and killing each other or BM at the same levels as the reverse. BM must stop hiding from these truths if they want to actually improve the community. Stop thinking it absolves us as BW of the horrible behavioral practices we have either, because it doest. I also don't know what you mean about Black women having more of a platform. How? You have much more social currency and power than we do. Its just you often use it to our detriment as a community (referring to music and film/tv). But in sports there is starting to be a resurgence of you using that social currency positively which is great.

Politically, you have more influence there too and always have. We just saw the first BW senator voted in since 1999 and she's just the second ever. There have been many BM in that seat, to the tune of 9. The gap is even bigger in the House and Supreme Court. You've also been elected POTUS. We've never even had the support to make nominee. You also lead politically on a community level, as you head churches, boards, more than we do.

Economically, well you have seen the stats. Despite all Black women's strides in education, you still make more and have far more wealth.

If BW were to wholesale start to abide by patriarchal living , Black folks would die out in two maybe three generations. Black men do no shave the economic base to support it, period. Even in the individual circumstances where individual Black men do have enough money to support a family on their own and be a true patriarch in the sense you all are desperate for, on a larger scale you still need a structure to support that system. That is, law enforcement, schools, and everything in between. In order to get the economic base needed Black women must take an active role in taking an equal role in the finances and thus it cannot be the patriarchy you all dream of.

Last thing, how wonderful it is that you all openly continue to show you don't see BW as women, unless you're asking them to submit to you. Somehow black women talking about women's issues is kowtowing to white women. Because the only real women are white, right? There are no male welfare use statistics, nor are there equal male child abuse statistics. We don't get automatic custody of children.
There are, however, men in PRISON for not PAYING child support. Child support was started by Janet Reno after visiting the Poke N Beans projects in Miami, Florida. Janet Reno's career and technique were promoted by Uncle Luke Campbell. Luke Campbell got bit in the ass by child support.
