As for Drake, the problem that Ja had was complete and utter oversaturation. Ja was everywhere and people got tired of seeing him everywhere while 50 was destroying his credibility. There's not much else you can do to mess with Drake's cred when part of his appeal is that he's this brutally honest self deprecating simp.

Ja Rule entered the game as a hardcore rapper. He hit gold with his collabos. Then his singing got hot. He went on 106 and Park and Free & AJ said, are you gonna release a song with you just signging, he said nah. Then comes "Rainy Dayz" or what have you. That's when the backlash started, then he got into a feud with DMX and proclaimed himself as the new "2Pac". That rumpled feathers. Dude was still going strong. Then he released that dud with Bobby Brown. We regained his footing with "Mesmorize" then the Feds shut down shop. People want t credit 50 for ending Ja Rule's career but that's total bullshyt. Anyway then Ja went back to the streets with Blood In my Eyes. Then he went back.
I don't think so, Fifty was mercilus. Not only that but he had perfect timing everybody was getting tired of Murder Inc. Every 5 songs was them it seemed. A lot of people still like Drake.
