Before I became senior management, and somebody from another location wanted to talk to me in my office, my secretary was ride or die. I think she would have physically tried to stop someone before they got in to see me. I told her on day one (she was a temp at first and I brought her on permanent because she was great), I told her that there were 2 people in that building that I would see, the Ops manager (my best friend) and the Director (my brother), and for everyone else, seeing me would be like calling the Beatles fan club and asking to talk to Paul McCartney. I don’t know why I got such a kick out of that, but I was proud of myself for coming up with it, lol
