i was going to get my son one last year but he's 5... i mean he can play every lego game and beat them by his self. but the thought of buying him 300-350 worth of video games that young.... i figured i'd hold off for a year.. so i'll probably grab it up for him this christmas

Lego games aint shyt compared to 3D Mario World, Donkey Kong, and Mario Kart 8. Those game are pure fun and truthfully on a whole other level.

And this is coming from someone that absolutely loves those lego games. Me and my kids have beaten them all.

Yeah sitting next to someone giving them that work or getting that work and having to deal with that fury anger or person right there next to you was amazing.

Gaming at that point taught you something both social and competitive wise.


And that's why arcade games use to own, especially fighters. Someone spending there money repeatedly to lose to someone else that was better than them either humbled a nikka or made them that more hungry to get better and body them.


You couldn't wait for a patch, or a download, a update or nerf. You played the game, adapted and keep it moving.


I really miss those days. Now if something is too good, you better believe its getting patched or touched in some manner after so long.





Split screen was really amazing, playing online is not even remotely close to that experience of local multiplayer.
