The best experiences I had with gaming was always with my brothers, cousins and all either sharing controllers or split screen

Goldeneye, crash bandicoot racing, super smash brothers, NFL blitz and madden, sf II turbo, etc... And even with single player games taking turns after died. shyt is completely different now

Online shyt is fun don't get me wrong but don't nothing compare to actually being next to and playing games with fam

Now we all grown and on our separate ways... it ain't the same

You answered this yourself, wii U didn't do much of anything so business went forward. I still get down with madden, 2k and fighting games in person but that's getting more rare as days go by

Outside of people with kids, no one is checking for couch multiplayer like that now

Kids are losing out on this more than anything because online isn't really catered to kids but people let their kids online with mostly other adults not knowing the shyt that goes on and shyt being said.

Exactly. My kids wont be online gaming for the foreseeable future. Nintendo warned us about this aggressive move to push gaming online. Now we have the cesspool that is Xbox Live and PSN. Yuck.

Just played some 4 player Super Mario 3D world and Super Mario Kart 8. Pure fun.

Multiplayer in person is far more enjoyable than online. There is honestly room for both. Not sure why so called "modern" developers don't include this options in their games? This is something Nintendo always makes a priority, and part of the reason i still fukk with them.

If the mario games had online coop i would have a wii u already. I could play with my nephews but they gonna suck lol

My daughters were trash too few months ago. Now they can play Mario Bros 3d nice as hell. Kids are fast learners breh. Give em time and they catch on quick.
