Eh. This was in poor taste. People defending this kid wanted were ok with cool with giving people death threats for saying anything less than glowing about Kobe after he died.

Now if a white kid made a kobe and gianna joke, coli would want him dead

Both scenarios are corny for a little kid to be doing during quarantine

Go read a book

Yeah this shyt is disgusting. Benoit is a piece of shyt and if we let this kid get a pass, cacs will start making fun of Kobe and Gianna soon and think its ok.

This is far from comedy

The difference between comedy and tragedy is distance. Watching someone slip on ice and fall on their ass is funny from across the street. Being the person who fell or close enough to see the pain on their face or immediately worry isn't funny.

Also tragedy plus time equals humor. 9/11 was not funny on 9/12/01. Now there are plenty of humorous jokes about 9/11. You've heard Chappelle say something like "they wouldnt have crashed those planes if they were full of black people, nobody would have cared" or "I wish a motherfukker would try to blow up the plane we woulda....(something about black people not being scared of terrorists or whooping their ass or something)

Chris benoit can never be compared to Kobe, ever.

How the fukk do you compare a long time drug addict who murdered his wife and child, to one of the greatest NBA players, a loving father, and person who was successful in other endeavors (Oscar)?

Kobe wasnt a criminal, drug user, and he never murdered anyone or committed suicide.

They can never be compared.

Chris benoit might have been a good wwf entertainer but that's where it stops. He was a piece of shyt as a man, husband, father, son.

Humor is not meant to be serious. Look at slap stick humor. Is a man really getting hit in the head with a hammer funny? No. When people fall and get hurt is that funny? No.

There's a difference between laughing at the jokes and laughing at the situation or people involved. People laughing at the Chris benoit stuff aren't laughing or making fun of his dead wife and kid.

As far as any Kobe "jokes", you can't even call them jokes, it's just hate and racism under a thin veil.

Plenty of respected comedians let's say Eddie Murphy, Chappelle, Chris rock have made light of real and serious situations and involving real people (Cosby, Michael Jackson, r Kelly, o.j.) they aren't being dikkheads or spewing hatred. Hell Chappelle and Chris rock know Louis c.k and some of the women he jacked off in front of but they've joked about it, still not being hateful or dikkheads about those involved or the reality of the situation.

I'm not defending Chris Benoit don't get me wrong, but his family was innocent, they don't need other family members being reminded. This was not a professional comedian this was a child who thought he was being cool and edgy, all I am saying is keep the same energy when people make fun of people you like because this is really what comes down to. I kept the same smoke for Ari Schafer when he said what he said about Kobe. If a white kid did the same shyt about Kobe funny or not this is a different thread. Hell you would be calling for him to be banned.

How does he know who Chris Benoit is?

Kid can't be into wrestling at all?
When you were kids, did you really not try to find out anything about the world that existed before you were born? :gucci:
Back in the day, you had to go to the library or videostore ... or wait for a special in tv, with youtube, netflix, and all that it's easier than ever.
