I've said it a million times and I'll say it again:

As a man in his 30's , stop getting hung up on where you should be at X age. You're gonna drive yourself fukking nuts comparing yourselves to other people.

3 years ago, I met this very wealthy investor who's my wife's client, and he was 42. He makes 9 million a year and said he still isn't happy because his friends make 50+ mill a year. He's not vain at all, but his explanation was he'd still see the same happiness at 70k because "enough is never enough". He understands this and says he wishes he would have spent more time with his kids and family instead of busting out 90+ hour work weeks for 10+ years. (This is a 100% true story and if I'm lying I hope I get every disease under the sun).

He didn't get to this level until he was 38 and at 25 was broke living in a studio. Would you say he's a failure?

It takes time and you could be gone tomorrow. Control what you can and find other sources of happiness for the time being. Mass wealth should be a cherry on top, not the foundation of your life.

God Bless

I'm talking bout the peeps 18-25

All these expectations...it's easy to get caught up :francis:

At 21 going on 22 later this year I thought I would be farther in life by now. I have absolutely no clue where I should be right now...but I just expected to be further along.

Society puts a lot of imaginary benchmarks on people our age. Idk what I should have accomplished by now...but I be skressin feeling like I should be super accomplished by this age :mindblown:

Social media adds on to it too. You hop online and you see nikkas your age and even younger stunting, flexing, being icy and shyt and you feel like a fukking bum :to:

shyt's gonna be even worse for the next generation though :sadcam:

But I'm starting to realize that life is a marathon not a sprint. Just cuz you don't have it now...doesn't mean you won't have it next year or the year after that :patrice:
I use to think just like this. I graduated late in high school, but I made it tho. I've always been behind getting my life together, but I'm doing whole lot better now than before. And before this year ends I'ma have everything going smooth. It takes time, but at least it's progress. :francis:
Don't never let society rule YOUR life. You don't need to make adjustments of your life all the time by living in society's terms. That shyt will get you killed. In the word's of the hodgetwins: "Do whatever the fukk you wanna DO!."

I'm just doing me

:salute:This man got it locked down. Easiest and simplest thing to do to gain all the benefits of enjoying life on your own terms. :blessed:

I think ppl need to focus on their goals and stop worrying about what they see on TV.

it's called anxiety and insecurity...and it's all in your mind. don't stress over things you can't control bro. be happy. live as you are and be positive and productive each day. have a vision, work diligently and economically and you will achieve it. everything appears better when you don't have it, but have you noticed that most things that society says you should have or do are overrated...just do you bro...chill, enjoy this moment as it is, cuz another one is not promised. everyone has problems, but not everyone is you...let that marinate
