brehs, think about this for a sec. We will never see a Cedric Alexander vs. AJ Styles match. That's just one example. Same company, would be a great match but we won't see it. Why? I have no fukking clue why. AJ Styles is the U.S. champion and he's doing an "open challenge" right?

well that shyt lasted like a week. He fought Tye Dillenger. Ok match. Now he's fighting Baron Corbin again. Another recycled feud. They just rehash the same shyt over and over and there's no rhyme or reason for most of these match ups. Jake Roberts was blinded by Rick Martel on the Brother Love show. They shot angles, they shot footage of doctors working on Jake, and showing his progress weekly. Then Jake would randomly show up and interfere in matches. It was like an 8 month feud that progressed weekly and culminated at Mania.

You'll never see that creativity again.

I guarantee you if Bucks/Omega were free agents, they'd be brought up to the main roster immediately. Why? Because they know their worth and wouldn't settle for anything less.

How to make it into wrestling:

1) Train hard and become a good wrestler.
2) Market yourself.

The Elite + associates (Marty Scurll, Cody Rhodes) have done this successfully. That's why they make WWE main roster money while working on their own terms.

The U.K. guys are known to have taken 'mark deals'. I'm sure other guys have too. I remember when James Storm showed up in NXT, TNA offered much more than what WWE was offering which was telling. He wasn't a mark.

James Storm is different because HHH/Regal straight up told him to take the money TNA was offering, because he wasn't going to get that much from WWE. The reason he left TNA in the first place was because they wanted to cut his money by a significant chunk on reups (the same reason AJ/Joe/Roode/EY left), so he said fukk it and went to NXT. Then TNA called him offering more than what he was making previously and WWE told him to take the money. This also happened when TNA passed on the Wolves, then they did a few NXT shows and offered them double and made them a huge feature of the company for like 2 years straight.
