Y’all don’t miss coworkers heating up fish in the break room microwave?:dahell:

We had a water type of machine in the cafeteria, this was heavily used in summer.
They put ice inside of it to keep the water cool for hot summer days.
We had a ice scoop spoon in the cubpoard to scoop the ice.
It was a fairly multi-ethnic working environment.

One of the co-workers used to put ice in there by grabbing the ice with her hand, and drop it in the machine.... with her hands.
People complained, like stop doing that, she got mad saying "Oh my hands are clean, I don't have dirty hands".

Later on we found out she was complaining to her co-workers, because she was an entitled white woman and she was offended that non-whites were telling her to stop putting ice in the machine with her hands, like why would dirty non-whites assume they are more clean than a white woman.

But it had nothing to do with that, we didn't want anyone regardless of skin color to take ice with their bare hands and put it in there.

We aint missing out on shyt :mjlol:

Ive probabaly saved 2 years off my vehicles life by not going to work. :wow:

Got in the best shape of my life :wow:

Got caught up on personal hobbies and projects during work downtime:wow:

Redid the house :wow:

Slammed alotta ass :wow:

But no we "missing out" on 1 hour commutes and stale donuts on fridays :mjlol:

Fukk outta here with that bullshyt, we never going back :camby:

This 1000%

Got a full rack and weights in my basement and now my lifts are astronomically up at the tender age of 40

Instead of waking up at 7:00 and hitting the road to be at work by 9:00 I'm waking up at 7:00, lifting for 2 hours then getting on the computer at 9:00.

Then throw in an hour of cardio for lunch :wow:

And I can cook fish without having some :flabbynsick: coworker bytch about the smell and leaving passive aggressive notes on the microwave about it.

Yeah I'm good :camby:

Bro, it's mostly about Fukk traffic!!! Fukk commuting!!!

If most people had their office building across the street from their house it would be okay.
But honestly, fukk communiting for over an hour so I can sit at a desk for 7 hours, and then commute back home for another hour... those days are gone!!! :blessed:

I don't remember since I started my career when I used to get good sleep like I do now.
I forgot how much I love taking naps.

Depending on your career and your career aspirations you may or may not be losing out.

It truly depends on the individual.

The future should adopt a hybrid/optional working model, those that want to be in the office (and there are a lot) can be in the office and those that don't can stay at home.

I've dealt with a lot of muhfukkas on a power-trip. :ld:A lot of straight up annoying ass people that come to work purely to play or harass other people. :unimpressed:Some people come to work without taking a shower all week. All kinds of shyt.

I kinda agree with this article :ehh:

I'll speak for myself. There were a lot of things I was able to pick up on in the workplace that I'm not sure I would have gained, at least not as quickly, if I was working fully remote like I am now. Navigating the corporate world is a beast; I was not lucky enough to have any real mentors so everything I learned about being successful in the workplace came from observing others and picking the brains of the people around me. I'd think it be harder for that to happen if I was fully remote like I am now.

I like working remote, but there are jobs where it’s better to be in person, mainly because the staff in my jobs don’t know what the fukk they are doing and zoom calls only help so much.
