Young men looking to get married should avoid girls from single parent families

Both my parents come from two parent households, I come from one

So will my future kids. It will be harder for me to date but it will also get rid of chicks with piss poor attitudes.

Me too! Grandparents, great-grands and back. All married and stayed together...on my side and my hubby's. That's all we know...married family. When I was single, I was not ever going to be in a relationship with a man who didn't come from a 2 parent household. He also had to have a degree and NO KIDS. And I got what I wanted. I know great men and women from single parent households, but they all have some sort of relationship hang up that keeps them from being truly happy.

I didn't need my father in my life to become a good woman, everything I learned was from my mom and all the other women in my family.
That's square ass logic because u can look through history and see how many good women came from single parent homes. And just because u came from a two parent home doesn't mean that u cant be a screwup. Alot of women who y'all call 'thots/hoes' came from two-parent homes, so whats ur excuse in that case? What about women who cheat that are from two parent homes?
Two parent homes dont mean shyt either if ur parents/one of the parents was abusive either.

My family is the same way. My parents were when I told them one of my girlfriends was raised just by her mother. I didn't have the heart to tell them she hadn't finished college yet (she was 25)

I am wary of women that didn't have that stability though, because there may be some things they just don't have a concept of.
I still have dinner every night at the table with my parents
Most girls/women I know aren't even aware its a legitimate thing, not on television, shyt most of my friends in the same situation were when they realised we didn't just do it when they came over to eat, it was a 7 days a week thing.

Man, I know a girl that was raised by her older sister, mom was a drug addict and her dad, though she communicates with him he was out mostly the picture.

On paper shes considered a catch (college educated with a stupid fat azz btw )BUT she has certain personality traits that are completely off. Good person at heart but dealt a bad hand

I blame the parents. They either had a child out of wedlock like a fool or didn't realize that they were incompatible for they decided to procreate. Ultimately the child as a product of bad decision making. If I had a job I would not want them to bring that into my family. I'm sorry that offends some people

Not only that but being that black Americans like myself are the poorest people in America it puts us in the even worse wealth position by having somebody who comes from single-parent family brought into the fold. Because most people who come from single-parent families are poor so now got to pick up somebody else's weight even more so
