Down here in the south these white kids are taught that the confederacy was right to do what they did and the big ole meanie head Union was just infringing on their rights to treat black people how they wanted. Can't tell you how many times white kids in my class would defend the confederacy and say that the war had nothing to do with slavery. Their bigot parents pass down this weird ass mindset that "the south will rise again" and put dem negros in their place when the time comes. fukk em. This isn't surprising at all and her apology doesn't mean shyt. Her mindset will never change so I don't understand why some of us try to co-exist with these people.

I've actually looked into to seeing if Wake County could ban the image of the Confederate flag a few years ago when I was doing work with one of the black Raleigh Council Members but it falls under the guise of Free speech. We looked at it after the big controversy about the confederate flag flying over the old state capital in 2013. So do I feel the need to come at every white person I see with it on the bumper sticker, NO! But I was at least SLIGHTLY proactive about doing something. Sure nothing happened but I didn't just like ya'll nikkas.
