Well, there’s the obvious that brehs didn’t take the plunge and shave their whole head once they started balding like brehs do today. The only man who had a full bald head back in the 70’s was Kojack.
I also think back in the day, there wasn’t the Peter Pan phenomenon we have today. Older millennials in their late 30’s and early 40’s now are literally the same people with the same exact lives as they were when they were 20 because of the lack of upward mobility.
Back in the day, people were literally grown ass adults with houses, careers, spouses and multiple kids at age 20. People in my age group literally just started having kids because student loan debt and the Great Recession had them putting off having kids until they could afford it. And they are considered the successful ones.
But 35+ brehs don’t realize that we do look old to the younger generation. Little nuances in your style of fashion and choice of words, especially choice of slang, give your age away even if you think you look young. Which is why’s it’s cringe to see a 35+ breh trying too hard to follow every trend dressing like rappers ten years younger than them wearing hoodies when it’s 100 degrees outside and shyt.
But its okay because it’s an Amiri hoodie, it cost a thou wow.
Pooh Shiesty mask covering those crows feet and receeding hairline.
Gotta put Dr. Scholl’s in the Chunky Dunky’s because those skinny ass soles be killing your early onset Arthritic feet.
Gotta consult your physician before pouring up fo in the Sprite because you’re pre-Diabetic.
