As well remember in those days drinking, smoking everyday were commonplace and food was utter garbage back then. Clean water and clean air regulations were non existent , fewer people losing their teeth, dealing with war. Manual jobs etc., how many men just worked at an office desk back then or "tech"

I think looking young can stunt your maturity also. I was a late boomer in many ways. Plus I can't grow much facial hair. There's a lot of factors. I definitely tried to avoid stressful situations. And I've always dated way younger. My ex of 6 years is 28.

With that said people start to watch sitcoms from their early teens … Which would make that early to mid 80s for us by that time those shows were off air and only in syndication so we only looked at those shows as old
