That might be intentional...this weeks episode def had a lot of that

Yes it’s definitely intentional...... but I could easily watch a season of just his college years. It’s funny how you hear so many stories and how true they are.

Cuz I remember hearing a Sapp interview on the Rock where is said it did come into the locker room and tell Rock “he coming for his job” before taking it.

Also everyone calling him Dewey.... I love the authenticity of his show

The series really does work as promo for a potential Rock presidential run :skip:

With each episode highlighting how Rock didn't always have it easy and sharing a story about how he learned a valuable lesson or benefited from hard work.

Him bringing the fan to his mom's job was :obama:

High School Rock still sweating Karen :martin:

Watching the NFL draft scene :sadcam:

Rock bringing his real mom onto the show and the elevator shot with the young versions :ehh:

Yea the last few moments of this show was touching as fukk.

It felt like they filmed this not expecting there to be another season as they went through so much shyt.

To a degree, it felt like they wrapped out the middle part of his life. Would be interested to see where they go next season with those years. Of course his post college life has legs and then his early childhood

Enjoyed it overall though

They'll definitely get the story of him getting cut from the CFL and the '$7 in his pocket' story. There's no way they won't at least start on his rise through the world of wrestling.

The crowd rejecting him with the 'Die, Rocky, Die' chants, probably a watered down version of NOD road stories too. The Austin rivalry story told through this lens is money.
