Exactly. It's almost like American dancehall.I always said Thug is like a Reggae artist, and he uses his voice as an instrument too. If you think of Thugger in the scope of just rap you lost. Thugger isn't rap but he is Hip Hop.
Open your cotdamn mind breh, why do you have your hands over your ears and reciting mobb deep lyrics whenever thugger is blasting through the speakers?
one day .....
Young Thug is Future pre-honest days
back when future gave a fukk
His engineers have A Lot to do with it
You don't fucc with the legendary trio of

I agree w/Future but Young Thug is not a rapper. This is like complaining that Trey Songs does too much oooing and aaahing. U nikkas dont seem to get it.is this what it's come to now in hip hop?
like, it's done got so bad we compare shyt to shyt
future vs young thug
and yeah, i know outside of the internet, nikkas do really fukk with they music but they music wack though
i feel like nikkas only listen to beats because outside of some of them beats, them nikkas bring nothin' to the table
nothin' but some ramblin' over beats is what they do
future can't sing and just mumbles and young thug just yells, hollers and mumbles on records and yet people love it
masta killa called this shyt back in 97', "the dumb are mostly intrigue by the drum"![]()
I dunno what that nikka was talking about lmao

Can u make out what thugga is sayin?young thug ain't no singer either and he barely raps, just mumbles and hollers![]()
Because in reality Thug is not a rapper or doing HiP-Hop either.
And this in line the problem with artist like him. What they are doing maybe influenced by Rap, but it aint. But everything Young Black folks do thats not obviously Rock or "Electronic" music gets labeled Rap or R&B.
Can u make out what thugga is sayin?
U gotta understand that when there's millions of ppl who can make out what he saying the problem isn't him it's those who cant understand him
And you need to open up ur idea of what "singing" is
Thug does sing...not in the traditional sense but he does sing
This nun bout politically correct but as someone who has taken a couple courses on music history and music in general especially in African music, the appreciation from the people cam from the rhythms or the melodies on created not so much the vocal rangeyeah, for the most part i can make out what he sayin
technically, yes, he is "singin" if you tryin' to be politically correct usin' the term, but he's not a great let alone good singer
stop tryin' to make that nikka a great let alone good artist when he ain't bruh![]()

Everyone is born with the potential to sing to the point to where they can create a beautiful melody
Appreciation for Thugga's music from us is just that
An appreciation for the structure of his melody combined with his cadence and other vocal elements
Ur too focused on whether he fits the Western pop standard of "singing" instead of taking it back to the essence which is
Does it sound good
Thats what music has always been about from the beginning
And thug makes music that sounds good by utilizing the elements i just mentioned
