i dont think its an issue of pushing thug into the mainstream over migos for some coli conspiracy agenda, i just think 300 struggles to break their artists, and its weird, cuz they struggle with artists that dont really need much extra help. i feel like if migos and thugger were fully independent theyd be bigger cuz theyd just be dropping fire whenever they wanted

even with one of their bands they have on 300, highly suspect, them dudes should be way bigger, even with the grammy nominations they got. but they dont seem to be popping like they should.

300 seems like its trying to fit a new generation of artists into the old mold of business, and its just not working, across the board, but i dunno, im an armchair a&r

difference is for whatever reason Im always seeing Lyor working with Thug, aaaalll at his interviews, breaking down youtube views and statistics with Thug and his people, everytime i see sumthing with Lyor he talkin about Young Thug....Its possible he does all this with Migos too and its just not documented, but i doubt it....wheres his belief in the genius of Migos:jbhmm:? Im not seeing it,i dont think them following the old model its them following the new model that fails to turn 99% of these nikkas into stars....youtube views and demographics Lyor?really:mjlol:

maybe he just likes thugger, pause, lol

i dunno tho man, i know what you mean

he need to just let all them nikkas have their distance and stop putting the kybosh on projects that got the public fiending (metro thuggin, migos thuggin, etc).

its like he refuses to let the new modes of exposure work to his advantage

that and he probaly looks around and sees the game going away from hardcore/gangsta rap/trap whatever you want to call it....let these blogs, social media, forums etc dikkride these lil yachtys and other weirdo rappers.....but none of them have the star potential of not one single Migo member:banderas:

Lyor probaly checkin demographics and shyt, and it shows Migos potential demogrphic is "limited:mjcry:"....who cares, taking the streets and black folks by storm is what allows you to crossover and be a true superstar....the game today wants to skip that step, and im glad to watch them fail miserably at it:mjcry:

16k = $100,000 in 1 week

how much marketing money do you think is spent on Thug? :jbhmm:

he doesn't do interviews, you dont see commercials, or any late show performances....

he doesnt have any samples on his projects, so no sample clearance.

he is a walking meme, so no PR is needed as the blog latch on to whatever he does for shock value.

he writes all his own stuff & all his producers/features are people who probably only want money on the backend...

It has 10 songs, so only 10 songs mixed & mastered, at most $10k spent.

bottom line

sounds like whatever he sells is 100% profit = win for Thug/300 Entertainment.

an artist like Kendrick has heavy pr, samples out the ass a plethora of producers, a band...etc.

:yeshrug: Thug at 16k sounds like the better investment. At anytime they can officially copyright/monetize his other free materiel and sue Youtube/Soundcloud for the back money.:ehh:

So Cal
How is Nokia, I still haven't been yet.
It really depends on the crowd and where you are. The vip shyt is at the top but i've only been on the floor. If you trying to be close to the stage you gotta get there early. Them white kids was in line all day and they pretty much ruined the whole concert experience. The floor was packed and these nikkas doing fukking moshpits, everybody getting pushed and shyt.

I went to a big boi concert there a few years back though and it was a completely different vibe. Crowd was more mature and shyt was a dope experience.
