The character or concept you speak of does exactly what its meant to do in a buzzfeed, click bait, social media infested world that surrounds music today. As soon as he calls so and so "Bae" he's front page of all the major blogs, hip hop sites, etc etc...

Perfect your delivery too, every line you say has to have conviction & 100% effort to match the energy of the beat. Remember you are persuading the listener to fall into the song. You know how to flow pretty much but Id say get interesting and creative with it, find new ways to catch the pockets of the beat. If you make some cool new flows and intonations & new cool ways of saying shyt, people will instantly gravitate to your music

What makes your music different from everyone else stylistically? Work on that and find a niche. There is alot of dudes rapping who are ok to good, but they dont have that compelling thing that makes people take an interest. The game is about finding your niche & finding your unique sound, that will put you above the plethora of youtube n soundcloud rappers and your following will build easily after that.
