He didnt have to put on womans clothes, talk about fukking a mans father in jail or get a cosign from Elton John.

:snoop: fakkit straight bodied himself.

Conform to the radio and still be broke, brehs. :mjlol:

If Lyor Cohen really does get out Rap, them I'm not surprised. Seems like "the streets" don't have enough emotional attachment to these feminine rappers to actually purchase retail CDs. Even back in the DMX days, I knew hardcore bootleggers who loved X and bought his retail shyts. Hov was the same thing.

It's like the streets are :manny: when these new mixtapes/ albums drop. Releases ain't the epic event that it used to be.

Yea, thats what happens when cacs try to push their own agenda on the streets.

If the streets dont cosign, youre going to have a tough time getting off the ground.

Yeah, the feminine look on Young Thug ain't being cosigned. Birdman and Cohen both failed to push him to superstardom. He's just a dead fish in the water and his career can never reach the height of Lil Wayne.

Guess its time to become a thug again now that the homo thug experiment failed to takeoff.

WHo in marketing thought an Elton John cosign was a good look? They really thought they could bypass the street and make thugger a queen sensation. :mjlol:

Do people still need a DISTRIBUTION deal in the digital age tho?!!?:what: cant muthafukkas buy songs online now in multiple languages through websites through Itunes and Amazon. Cant you print up CD's and ship them to stores if you wanted to?!!?

Distribution of music?! In a digital age?!!? :dahell::patrice: I know I'm not crazy. I figure marketing is more important.
People clicc up with the majors for radio and tv access. And shyt like getting on the itunes front page, which falls under marketing. You can be as hot as you want in ATL but once you wanna take it global you will need to break bread. Plus the majors might get a better rate than an independent release when it comes to streaming
