This is the verse that Eminem spit on "Fine Line" that Young Zee is responding to

"Which now reminds me, put a thousand lighters, in the sky for the Outsidaz
Wow, I must've had Alzheimers, long time since I shouted them out, 'bout time
Cause It's been on my mind lately how, Zee, you always supported, me
You vouched, I will never forget that and, how you guys ac--cepted me
For me and Pace, I love you too, you slept on my couch
And I've been thinkin 'bout the time when I slept on the floor of the outhouse
Rhyming's all we ever wanted to do, and regardless how life has turned out inside
I'll always be an outsider, my life has been turned inside out but I"

The Fugees can let Zee rap on their classic album but the white boy couldn't?...

:comeon:

Those aren't small time album placements.

Wonder what happen, chances are zee is probably a hassle but I fukk with his music. He was on 8 mile soundtrack so I bet they were working together at some point then it fell apart. Also just cause someone can rap doesn't mean they are good at other shyt. For example take a look at the mess that is Shady Records.

That commercial break track above was supposed to be his intro as a signee just like with Obie on the first D-12 album so it's not like he's been ignoring Zee, the shyt just didn't work out for some reason or another.

This was around the same time period where Redman and Pharoah Monch were also rumored to be working out deals with shady that fell through. Shortly after that he releases Obie and Stat as well. Keep in mind that all of this is in the midst of proof getting killed and Kim trying to commit that.

Just because he's the label head on paper doesn't mean Iovine wasn't the one signing off on the budgets and contracts at the end of the day. Shady is just an imprint, one being run by a rapper who is basically signing people he thinks are dope with no real strategy or regard for ROI (return on investment). Factor in the time-line an all of his personal shyt to go along with an extended drug binge and its easy to see how some of this shyt got vetoed.

I woulda have loved to hear digga and em on more tracks. Forgot she was down with the Outz.

I wonder if Zee hit her up for some of that 13 ghosts money.
