Because you're skipping that he's a 41% shooter (34% from three) and commits 4.4 turnovers/game in the playoffs since he became the main guy. Not to mention that 2/3 of those playoff averages come from the 1st round, because he's only gotten past there once.

The one time he made the WCSF, he shot 40% and averaged 5 turnovers/game and wasn't stopping anybody. Houston would have been destroyed in 5 games, even with CP3 hurt and missing 2 of them, if random scrubs in the 2nd unit hadn't suddenly started playing like all-stars.

When he got to the WCF he played better, but that 2-11 shooting with 12 turnovers and 5 fouls in the closeout game was one of the worst performances by any star in all of playoff history.

Lebron's shooting only drops slightly in the playoffs, and his turnovers don't go up at all. Durant's shooting drop about the same as Harden's do, but his turnovers barely move, and he's not even close to Harden levels of FG% and turnover raw numbers. And that's with both of them having made a lot of deep, tiring runs.

Durant: 5% drop in shooting efficiency (to 46%) and 6% increase in turnovers (to 3.4) in 91 games as the main guy
Lebron: 2% drop in shooting efficiency (to 48%) and 3% increase in turnovers (to 3.5) in 199 games as the main guy

Harden: 5% drop in shooting efficiency (to 41%) and 10% increase in turnovers (to 4.4) in 34 games as the main guy.

Curry has the worst playoff dropoff numbers of all. The greatest choker of all time. :wow:

We can't just ignore that his game at its core is still a gimmick and can't be relied upon to carry a team deep in the playoffs.

Why am I not surprised that you didn't provide any context after posting that table? Not to mention Curry's been to back-to-back Finals (+ winning a title) while being the most important player to his team's success. Can't say that reminds me of a "certain someone".

*tables

Back-to-back finals with an elite coach, stacked bench & 2 other (now 3) All-Stars. Remarkable shyt.

Btw, you do know supporting casts & coaching actually matter right?

You do realize that Curry was the most important player on those squads right? Arguing that somehow Curry is like Harden in that he can't take a team deep in the playoffs is disingenuous to say the very least. Tell me, can you provide any context behind the differential in Curry's TEAM offensive ratings or are you just gonna post shyt without actually knowing exactly what it is?

Might I add, Curry's '16 Finals TEAM offensive rating is wrong. It's actually 102 and not 93. Quite a significant difference.

I think it's going to CP3 if the Clips can get the #1 seed. Otherwise, Durant.

Harden has been amazing, but they never give the MVP to someone unless their team is the #1 or #2 seed, so I don't see why that would change now.
