Can't argue with solo Meng/Haku matches, but I'll watch just about any Faces of Fear match in WWF and WCW, and there are a couple of Haku/Yatsu matches in SWS I'll fukk with. Luckily, 95% of FoF matches are jobber matches.

Lex's career was damn near killed during the Flair series in 1988-1990. Sting's injury forced Lex back into more main events with Flair, to the point where it stalled him out for 8 years. Even with a jump of promotions. Twice.

Yeah nikkas need to go back and watch some of Punk on youtube to see how good breh actually was. His in ring work was top notch and had a ton of classics, but his work as a heel was just :whew:

Interrupting Jerry Lawler after he came back from nearly dying, interrupting Undertaker after Bearer died, the pipebomb, most of his promos, CM GOAT in general :ohlawd:

There are so many nikkas that have said "I stopped watching when Austin and Rock left".
I've seen loads say "I stopped watching when Punk left".

What does that tell you? :sas1:

Punk's ring work was never top notch, nor was it even important to his success. He got signed for character and mic work. Dude was the Jake Roberts of his era, in that he made up for his lack of athleticism and not great body with promos and psychology. Him being the Austin/Rock of a generation to some people is weird as hell to me.

I don't know why people hold him up as some workrate king. His value was bringing emotion to matches and stories instead of doing 1000 moves and highspots per match that everyone else on the indies was doing.

And that right there is why Punk was great in the ring, one of the best of the modern era; and why he's better than all these other indie spot darlings :beli:

Jeff Jarrett - Not much more to be said that hasn't already been said. Just a useless bum on every level
Brutus Beefcake - So many failed gimmicks. Awful in the ring, bad talker, no charisma. His goofy fukkined face makes me want to shoot my TV everytime I see it. His whole career is based on being Hoegan's ring rat
Jimmy Valiant - I've only been put on him since the Network. Watching old Jim Crockett stuff made me realise how annoying this goofball fakkit was I'd love to see Abdullah do a 60 minute Iron Man with this dikkhead just slicing his forehead up
Jim Duggan - this cornball ran his gimmick into the ground for years. Spastic..
Disciples of Apocalypse/Harris Bros - Rewatching the 98 Raws I'm reminded how awful these bums were. Everytime I hear their music play (which is every fukking Raw) I'm like :francis:. :snoop: Never been involved in single interesting angle their whole careers despite beng a constant presence in WWF, WCW and ECW. And let's not forget those SS tats :pacspit:

I mean, yes, but people hold him up like he was some crazy workrate guy is what I meant. He didn't get looked at for his Cesaro type moveset.

Randy Orton. Only cause he was such a focal point. I admit he looks great, can wrestle etc.. but holy fukk he is the definition of boring.

A charisma vacuum if there ever was one.

@Kevin_Nash did Virgil owe you money or something? :dwillhuh: :damn:

Here's the back story on who this match looks stiff:

A couple months before, Virgil asked me if he could borrow my Doggystyle tape so he could copy it. I said no problem, just give it back when you're done. So a month goes by, and I ask for my tape back, and he said he's been busy and hasn't had a chance but he would return it the first chance he got. The night of this match, Virgil comes in the back, and he hands me a blank cassette and told me he lost my cassette, but recorded me a copy. I have steam coming out of my ears at this point, but hey, I at least have Snoop I can listen to before my matches, and I tell him to get the fukk out. I pop it into my walkman, and I hear this:

Now I'm beside myself here. Scott's laughing his ass off and Shawn is joining him, even though he has no idea why I'm mad. Later that night, we were walking in the back, and I saw Virgil with his back towards us, talking to someone. I smacked the shyt out of him and told him be better get me a new fukking tape or I'd break his jaw. Thankfully he got me a brand new copy a few days later and everything was all good.
