The Hacksaw Jim Duggan hate is crazy

It's probably cause Jim Duggan's peak was during a time when a lot of people on here either weren't even born, or were very young. I first noticed Duggan in 93. He was pretty much washed athletically from 97 and on. Hell, WCW had him finding titles in the trash like he was Mideon and wearing a custodian outfit as ring attire in their latter years

And Konnan was a sloppy as shyt wrestler for a very long time who had charisma, that's pretty much it

He didn't have "workrate". He put in zero effort and had zero skill. He was dangerous, reckless, selfish, and drew as much attention as possible to the fact that everything you're watching is fake, which is the worst thing a wrestler can do during a match. Then you had his promos, which were just stealing shyt from various rappers. Then you had his insanely stereotyped Mexican accent when this mother fukker was Cuban and grew up in Boston/Florida.

There's a reason no one can name a good Konnan match, and if they do, it's from Mexico and no one has actually watched it, they just repeated something Meltzer said 25 years ago. His highest rated match is Cien Caras vs. Jake Roberts vs. Konnan and anyone that has watched that knows it is an absolute shyt show. Barely even a match, more like a 15 minute angle. But that was his highest rated match because Meltzer has always had a hard on for overrating international wrestling because that shows how much smarter you are than the average fan. Konnan is, was, and will always be absolute garbage.

Its clear you just dont like the man, which is fine. But nothing about the way he worked seemed fugazi especially considering the SUPER FAKE LUCHADORES he was facing like that piece of garbage super calo, the botchmachine juve, silverking, etc

His matches with rey and psichosis were all dope, his you cite things like "selfish" and "zero skill" which simply are intangible and wrong and "reckless" when there isnt a reputation of him out there hurting guys. He just has a rep of getting blown up which IMO was a function of him working the speed of his no-selling luchadores.

If you dont like the man thats 100% fine but you are stating opinions as facts which is erroneous. Konnan was over as fukk with the crowd and he had a strong moveset that got people into matches. Theres a reason he has achieved everywhere but WWE who tried to make him fukking megaman.

Though, this slander just made me realize something about Konnan. It was already a forgone conclusion, IMO, that X-Pac and Konnan essentially had the same role as the guys that held down the mid-card in the popular stable. What I didn't really pay too much attention to before now was they both had their runs with the European Title & TV title in the same 3-4 month span. Wonder if that was on purpose?

Of course he didn't do that with bigger name guys, because those guys wouldn't let him do shyt them. Totally forgot about Divas. I'm going to have to add Kelly Kelly to my list as well. There are obviously worse wrestlers and it's blatant, but she was annoying as hell to watch. I hate woman wrestlers who feel the need to scream ALL the time. The most annoying thing about her, though....

She always come across (to me) as a goofy young surfer chick that got warped from the 80's into the 2000's and stumbled her way into becoming a wrestler, finding ways to win accidentally.
