Yes. Really. A Kia Sephia will seem like it drives well if you drive it once.

It's the same way a POS rental car felt like a nice change from my nice car whenever I'd need to rent. And I'd think "well this ain't that bad". After 2-3 days it's fukk MY LIFE. Then if I had it for anytime from there the car would probably break.

i wouldnt add a Mazda 3 or 6 to the list. those things are rust buckets now, very perplexing considering they came out after 2003. I had a M/azda6, that thing was ass cheeks to work on, it was like working on a german car but with none of the benefits. at the time of there were barely any aftermarket parts of community....but thats probably changed now.

No, if you a have a good paying job (with proof of such, like an offer letter or pay stub), a dealership (or your bank) will work with you to finance.

Don't buy a new car unless you plan on riding it even after its paid for. That depreciation hit is serious .... Newer used is the way to go.

I agree on the rust, Im pushing a 2005 Mazda 3, mechanically has been very reliable, but body and back end of the exhaust has a bit of rust.

What about leasing? I'm in a 2 year program, but I don't know what I'll be doing or where I'll be after those 2 years. I'm almost guaranteed to still have a job tho
