Your most disappointing games of all time?

i remember this game called Brink that i saw trailers and gameplay vids of before it came out, and i kept thinkin damn boy this shyt looks GOAT

when i got it, i played it for 15 minutes and never put it in my xbox again...shyt was literally nothin like the videos and trailers, it was a complete clusterfukk

can't forget marvel vs capcom 3 and street fighter x tekken....i had such high hopes, those were supposed to be dream games for fighting fans

edit: and maybe it's just me but i thought sub zero mythologies was kinda dope..then again i was a lil kid playin it and didn't really give it much critical analysis, i was just hype to be playin it

The rock star game "State of Emergency".

It was right off of the hype of gta2 for the dream cast and gta3 for ps2 so I assumed this game would be gta on steroids..

Pretty much in the older games whoever had control of the power weapons such as the rockets and sniper won the match and its even worse if they controlled the vehicles as well. Being randomly put on a bad team led to me quitting quite a bit. I don't have any problems getting kills with sprint since shooting someone automatically knocks them out of sprint on halo 4. The worst part of Halo to me was the Noob Combo Tracking Charge shot into head shot with battle rifle from halo 2.

That's the point of arena shooters...get the power weapons and power ups to win. shooting someone didnt knock them out of sprint in halo 4, it just lowered the sprint speed. The noob combo was easy to use in H2, it was fixed after that.

Aliens: Colonial Marines (wtf Gearbox)

this is the first thing I thought of since I was hyped from the first announcement.... and I still had fun playing, due to my staning of Aliens, but still...coulda been so dope.....

the first madden on the 360.....thought they woulda put more effort into the first next gen sports game....

I lucked out and got the GOTY edition for 20 bucks. That being said the story was excellent but the gameplay was plodding.

Man I bought that shyt full price after the hype of searching for evidence and reading expressions wore off. I felt like I flushed 60 bucks down the drain. I traded it in to amazon after beating it but I still felt like I lost.

Damn I copped ME3 after finishing the second one. is it really that bad?

Lost Odyssey is my choice. The game wasn't bad but if they used some of the stories you'd get from them book sequences on the main story instead of the contrived shyt they used it would of been so much better.

Does anyone remember the hype surrounding State of Emergency? Rockstar was getting cover stories for that game and I pre-ordered it crazy early...what a disappointment.

Breh, I swear i was so hype for this game. Went to blockbuster the day they got it and rented it. Couldnt wait to get fukking home. Pop that shyt in the ps2 and.........

Literally the worst gaming experience of my life. The game was pose to be riots gta style. How did they fukk it up so bad? Im still pissed because I've never felt defeat like when I popped that shyt in my ps2 and saw the fat mexican bul pop up on my screen

ME3 is a beautiful game especially if you've played through the trilogy but that original ending was a clusterfukk and negated the whole trilogy's story within ten fukking minutes it was an abomination of writing and Casey Hudson should be tried and hung and have his fukking hands chopped off for re-writing the original planed ending

Yoshi's Island was one of the GOAT SNES platformers...so tell me why they made this wack ass 3 hour game bullshyt? Thank god I only rented this crap

-Zelda: Twilight Princess
Wanted to play so bad after all the praise and being content with previous Zelda's. Took me weeks to finish the game cuz I flat out did not give a shyt about it. I was just so bored it. I can't even tell you what the final dungeon and boss was. Every Zelda since then (including the DS games) has been a mediocre mess. Haven't played Link Between Worlds yet.

I dunno what it was about this game but I just wasn't as enthused with this game like I was with Melee. Maybe the redundant characters? The mechanics? Dunno
