I don't want to go under my Quad hood. What is the best external Hard Drive out here? I need more space asap
I'd like to know this too. I'm assuming an external means slower load times though, but I don't really wanna open up my ps4 either

USB 3 will be faster if you get a good drive. If I remember correctly the PS4 uses SATA II (or maybe that was the xbox one)

In fact, it will probably be faster if you have a 7200RPM external and a clear advantage with an external SSD if you want to go that route.

USB 3 > SATA II

Trying to look up info really quickly it appears that the PS3 does have SATA III capabilities, but ships with a SATA II 500GB HDD for some reason? That's what I keep finding in results, but why would sony do that? In bulk I can't imagine much of a savings :wtf:
