I don't want to go under my Quad hood. What is the best external Hard Drive out here? I need more space asap

I'd like to know this too. I'm assuming an external means slower load times though, but I don't really wanna open up my ps4 either
You don't have to open nothing the hard drive just slides out they made it with expansion in mine
USB 3 will be faster if you get a good drive. If I remember correctly the PS4 uses SATA II (or maybe that was the xbox one)
In fact, it will probably be faster if you have a 7200RPM external and a clear advantage with an external SSD if you want to go that route.

Trying to look up info really quickly it appears that the PS3 does have SATA III capabilities, but ships with a SATA II 500GB HDD for some reason? That's what I keep finding in results, but why would sony do that? In bulk I can't imagine much of a savings

It does, but does the PS4 even support external hard drives for games? I have never tried.
I'm not a tech guy like that. But I hear good things about the seagate 2tb. So I guess I'll get that

Haven't looked through the entire thread but on the first page the article recommends a 2TB Seagate, but I assume you guys have had issues with this maker in the past?
Also, should I worry about HD space only if I download games?
