I don't want to go under my Quad hood. What is the best external Hard Drive out here? I need more space asap
I'd like to know this too. I'm assuming an external means slower load times though, but I don't really wanna open up my ps4 eitherI don't want to go under my Quad hood. What is the best external Hard Drive out here? I need more space asap

USB 3 will be faster if you get a good drive. If I remember correctly the PS4 uses SATA II (or maybe that was the xbox one)I'd like to know this too. I'm assuming an external means slower load times though, but I don't really wanna open up my ps4 either
Are you sure the the ps4 has usb 3?USB 3 will be faster if you get a good drive. If I remember correctly the PS4 uses SATA II (or maybe that was the xbox one)
In fact, it will probably be faster if you have a 7200RPM external and a clear advantage with an external SSD if you want to go that route.
USB 3 > SATA II
It does, but does the PS4 even support external hard drives for games? I have never tried. Are you sure the the ps4 has usb 3?
edit: Nevermind, I just checked and it does
