Been half assing my labs for the past few years. Biggest fear is i wont be technically proficient once i go into industry. Please tell me you were trained for that shyt breh
Yea, this is my first job out of college (I graduated May 2012 and didn't get this job until April 2013). I wouldn't say they trained me persay, it's more so they started me off slow (right now the cards I program are all pretty damn easy) and they answer all my questions.
As long as you take the basics principles from college you'll be fine.most shyt you learn in college is either outdated or not how it's done in the industry anyway (at least in EE).

Right now just a student who does part-time service industry jobs and freelance shyt in the summers to stack for school year
BUT after I finish my Masters: either working in a cognitive neuroscience lab or a social/ clinical worker or I can get the money and be a therapist
But really I just want to write movie and television scripts and at some point produce/ direct my own stuff
Glad I'm young and have time to make this work

I'm in retail management. Not that lucrative and my boss can be difficult to work for but it's something. Been in position for little over three years, been with company for nine years. Would love to move up and eventually be store manager or higher someday. But with all the bullshyt going on within the company, if something better comes along I'm out.

Did the medical assistant thing..Became bored..
Went to school for graphic design...the novelty of it wore off
Changed my major to PR/Marketing...
Now i'm taking a break lol When I get back to the states I plan on getting my LPN and moving on up the ranks to RN.
