I teach 10th grade... :ehh:

...at the high-school I graduated from. :ld:

I'm the youngest person on staff and a lot of my co-workers are the teachers that taught me. It's weird. :patrice:

The kids are all cool so the entertainment trumps the stress, but it's a constant reminder that I need to get out of this city before I'm literally stuck in the exact same place I've been.
I have a few friends who ended up doing the same.

Nice. I'm a fan of CentOS not so much with Ubuntu tho.
Ubuntu is great for linux/unix novice people getting started.
I will recommend it as a desktop OS not so much for server related stuff.

Plus it's Debian distribution, most compnaies like rpm stuff

I went through the same thing when I was a teacher's assistant in first year of university. I was teaching at the elementary school I went to and my kindergarten teacher was still there. Saw him in the break room all the time looking like :sadcam: at lunch, complaining about kids

yeah I let the Windows admins play with Ubuntu. They get all happy with the GUI and claim they know Linux now...I throw them on a command line and it's game over for them dumb asses.
