this was his last album on Deathrow and Dre didnt provide the heat that we were all accustom to hearing........I thought his version of "Vapors" was alright but the album was sub par.........

The Snoop Upside Your Head single was dope and did fairly well. The album itself had its moments but it wasn't what we all expected, that was for sure.

I dont know a single person who was 'happy' with the album.

My reaction was :wtf: then:snoop:

Downtown Assassins was cool but I barely remember anything else. Snoop lost so much swag from his 1st to 2nd album. I dont even think he perform songs from this album. I remember seeing some advertisement years ago. They had all Snoops albums side by side and From Doggystyle probably to like Rythm and Gangsta or Blue Carpet Treatment. They didn't even list Doggfather on there :bryan:

Just heard this album in full for the first time. The only track I recognized was "Gold Rush" because somehow, it's one of the least shytty songs and actually got played somewhere.

This album is complete and utter :trash: That's the thing about our generation back then - we called it what it was. If this shyt were released today, internet groupies would be fawning over themselves doing their best to like it. Calling it 'classic' and all that garbage.

The other thing I found hilarious was Snoop talking about how he didn't give a fukk about the beat on Freestyle Conversation :mjlol: No wonder this album was straight garbage.
