In no particular order

Norman Smiley. The screaming used have me laughing my ass off

Chris Jericho in WCW. Especially when he had Ralphus with him.

Ernest "The Cat" Miller in WCW.

La Parka

Ric Flair. Yes he's not a comedy wrestler but dude is funny AF. I can listen to his 80's and early 90's promos and never get bored.

Good ass call on the Cat, he was so irrationally confident that he made me believe he was the baddest dude in WCW for a while. Even though he was a sideshow more or less :heh:

Surprised to see Lawler mentioned so often, he's always been cringeworthy chasing laughs for me. At least one joke every broadcast that deserves the :comeon:

I don't think I was really taking notice of comedy wrestling until recently... no idea why, but most of the pre-2010 stuff just passed me by. Rocky was funny as shyt, but the actual comedy acts like Santino or even the Job Squad always seemed pretty fukking lame.

Mizdow was quality. Heel Bryan was decent. New Day have probably made me laugh more than anyone else in wrestling.

Dwayne is the most naturally comedic performer in professional wrestling and it's not even close.

Rocks comedy is real hit or miss though with the llama penis and snifflepuss or whatever shyt. When he is just talking shyt though, or running someone down yeah he's untouchable. I didn't include him because he was always a comedy guy but his characters outside of Hollywood rock weren't really comedy characters. And I am one of the few that legit did not like Hollywood rock.

But I think comedy in wrestling has always been there...outside of the heel announcers, Adrian Adonis vs piper was a comedy fued...dusty Rhodes incorporated comedy into his career a lot. JYD as well. I think purely comedy characters (outside of Adonis) are a mid 90s thing though

Yeah, agreed... he's just a naturally funny guy. Good timing. When he actually tries comedy for the sake of comedy it doesn't tend to work as well though.

Bit like Mick Foley tbh. Mick could make me laugh explaining how he laces up his boots... but listen to a joke he's purposefully written and it's :francis:

Yeah, totally. I think I was just deaf/blind to it... maybe I was a humourless excuse for a teenager.:sadcam:

Jericho for me is the funniest.

After Chris, I'd say
Mae Young - was genuinely funny in an off-beat sort of way.
Mick Foley - "Rock, this is your life" I lost it when he brought out his teacher!
Rocky - During his main event run, he was automatic as a comedian.
Bobby Heenan - Always off his rocker, I always imagined they just let him say whatever he wanted.

Honorable mention is Hot-Rod
